From Košice to Bratislava in the shortest time possible. Simple. However, three climbs will stand in your way — and the coordinates of the first one will only be revealed one hour before the race start. Each following climb will be announced only after the race leader reaches the previous one.

Riders will be equipped with GPS trackers, which can be collected on September 11, 2026, between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM in Košice, or directly before the race start on September 12 at 6:00 AM at the start location.

When collecting the tracker, each participant will also receive an RTSK Sprint cycling cap and will be required to sign a liability waiver confirming participation at their own risk. Without a signed waiver, participation in the race will not be allowed. In the event that you do not reach the finish line, the tracker must be returned to the organizers by courier at your own expense.

All pre-race information will be sent via newsletter and published in the Race Through Slovakia WhatsApp community channel. During the race, all official communication and group updates for participants will be provided exclusively through WhatsApp.

How is RTSK Sprint different from Race Through Slovakia?

Race Through Slovakia was created to introduce riders to ultra-distance cycling and make entering the discipline more accessible. In the second edition, we also introduced a shorter version of the race (650 km) to make the step into endurance cycling as barrier-free as possible.

With RTSK Sprint, we would like to create an event aimed more at physically strong and experienced riders — for example, those competing for the top positions on the 650 km route of Race Through Slovakia.

Just like Race Through Slovakia, participants compete primarily for prestige and the challenge of pushing their own limits. However, unlike Race Through Slovakia, RTSK Sprint will not include large starter packs, although we may still prepare sponsor gifts waiting for you at the finish line. We also will not provide accommodation after the finish — but of course, beer, radler, and food will be ready for you.

As with Race Through Slovakia, every participant will receive a GPS tracker, friends and family will be able to follow the race through dot watching, and everyone will get an original cycling cap designed specifically for this event. You can also expect a photographer at least at the first checkpoint and at the finish line.

Registration Fee and Refund Policy

If you have already paid the registration fee but are unable to participate in the race:
– until June 30, we will refund the full amount
– until July 31, we will refund the registration fee minus a €29 administration fee or
– until September 11, we can accept a replacement rider on your behalf
