Race through Slovakia is a self-supported endurance road cycling race. For three years now, we’ve been showcasing the most stunning places in Slovakia — and in our neighboring countries — to both local and international riders.
Our mission is also to introduce endurance cycling to people who may be new to it. It’s a discipline that brings joy through movement, challenge, and discovering landscapes in a way few other sports can. Each year, we reveal a new set of mandatory segments that form our 1,000 km and 650 km routes.
On the start line, you’ll find not only cyclists competing for time, but also many who come to push their personal limits. For others, it’s a chance to step out of everyday life and experience a true adventure — which is why our race has no time limit. Riders can compete solo or in pairs, and choose between the long and short route.
The Road Ahead aftermovie from Race through Slovakia ‘25 captures the spirit of the event and the riders who, in early May, set off on the most demanding edition we’ve ever created.
In the film, you’ll see breathtaking spots across Slovakia and Hungary, where this year’s mandatory segments led — including Banská Štiavnica, Sitno, the High Tatras, Liptov, Roháče, Esztergom, Miskolc, Bükk National Park, Ipeľ National Park, and many more places our riders passed through.
