Most of these people will be out on the RTSK ’26 route with their faces hidden behind the lenses of cameras and photo gear — so we’d like to introduce them to you already now.

Media Team I

For the second time, the race aftermovie will be in the hands of Peter Komár. Pepo studied film at a school focused on documentary filmmaking and has filmed just about everywhere and everything — something he proved while shooting the segment preview for this year’s edition. In nearly every village we passed through, he had a story from a past shoot. Alongside filming, he also teaches filmmaking at a secondary school, where his students call him pánmajster, and spends his free time riding mountain bikes around Banská Bystrica.

Dominik Janovský will be sharing the car with Pepo. You might recognize him from the Cyklove podcast, which he records together with Zuzana Mikulcová. Dominik is a cyclist who almost always has a camera hanging from his shoulder. He works as a cameraman at Post Bellum and is a graduate of the Academy of Arts. And one day, when he has a long grey beard, he plans to return to the craft of blacksmithing. On the route, he’ll not only work with Pepo but also capture your stories and moments through his camera lens.
You can learn more about Dominik on the Cyklove Instagram and, of course, on his personal account.

Media Team II

Joining us for the first time will be Petr Janíček, whom many riders may recognize from various Ultrabikers events in the Czech Republic, where he has documented the races. A few years ago, Petr bought a bike and a camera. Today, he rides ultra-distance races — and enjoys photographing them even more. Through his work, he tries to tell the stories of riders who set out to push beyond their own limits.
Petr will start photographing at the mandatory segment in Mikulov and will follow the race all the way to the finish.
You can see some of his work from events such as Race Across Czechia, Moravia Divide, and Moravia Gravel.

Media Team III

For the fourth time, Peter Borko will be waiting for you in the toughest climbs. After the first segment on Braunsberg, he will move towards the White Carpathians, where he will focus mainly on riders taking part in the 650 km version of the race.
He knows the mandatory segments better than anyone — after all, he designed them himself — so once again he’ll find the best spots along the route to capture you taking on the steep climbs.

Finish Line Media

At the finish line, you’ll be welcomed by Mark Balage, a dynamic Slovak creator specializing in music and audiovisual content, with a strong focus on professional production for events, videos, and visual projects. From the finish hotel, you can expect engaging reels and videos that will entertain not only you, but also your friends, family, and fans of Race Through Slovakia.
