Self-Sufficiency

This is a self-supported race. No outside assistance or support from family, friends, or other riders is allowed. No drafting behind cars, tractors, other vehicles, or competitors. No support vehicles, public transport, or similar assistance may be used.

You may only use commercial services available to all riders equally. This includes bike shops, guesthouses, hotels, restaurants, and similar services. However, you may not sleep at friends’ or family members’ homes or in places accessible only to you.

Safety

Every participant is fully responsible for themselves, just like any other road user. Riders are required to follow basic safety rules, especially remaining visible at all times by carrying two independent sets of lights and using them in poor visibility conditions.

Helmets are mandatory — no helmet, no race. Riding at night requires a reflective vest, and reflective ankle bands are strongly recommended. All bicycles must have two fully functional and independent braking systems.

Rules

  1. The rules are non-negotiable.
  2. Be self-supported and ride using only your own power, without outside assistance or support from other riders.
  3. No help from friends or family along the route. (Family and friends are welcome to watch and cheer, but they may not ride with you or provide any form of assistance.)
  4. No drafting behind vehicles or other riders.
  5. No support or service vehicles.
  6. No public transportation.
  7. You may only use commercial services available equally to all riders. (If you pass your own home or the home of friends or family, you may not enter.)
  8. Assistance between riders is allowed only in emergency situations. (The general classification includes only riders who complete the entire course fully self-supported.)
  9. You may not remove bags or equipment from your bike before climbing a hill with the intention of collecting them later on the descent.
  10. It is acceptable to meet other riders along the route, ride side by side for a while, and exchange a few words. However, doing so continuously or for long periods means you are no longer riding independently.
  11. You choose your own route between checkpoints. Nobody else may plan it for you.
  12. If reaching a mandatory checkpoint becomes impossible, you must get as close as possible, document the reason why continuing is not possible, and send the documentation to the WhatsApp group.
  13. If the first rider discovers that a checkpoint is inaccessible for any reason, all following riders only need to reach the documented point.
  14. If a checkpoint becomes inaccessible after some riders have already passed it, riders unable to reach it will receive an appropriate time adjustment at the finish.
  15. If there is a designated cycling path alongside the road you are using, you are required to use it.
  16. Obey all traffic laws. We have absolutely zero tolerance for breaking or bypassing road regulations. Any violation results in disqualification.
  17. No helmet, no race. Riding without a helmet means disqualification. An unfastened helmet is considered the same as no helmet.
  18. Bicycles must have two independent and fully functional brakes. Standard road bikes must have both front and rear brakes. Fixed-gear bikes must have an additional brake — braking only with pedals is not sufficient.
  19. You must carry two independent sets of lights: two rear red flashing lights and two front lights.
  20. In reduced visibility conditions, reflective elements are mandatory, such as a reflective vest and ideally reflective ankle bands.

Responsibility

As organizers, we provide the race concept and framework. However, every rider is effectively their own race organizer and is fully responsible for their route, health, safety, and decisions during the event.
Unexpected situations may occur: accidents, bicycle damage, mechanical failures, or other emergencies. As organizers, we cannot guarantee assistance in critical situations.
By entering the race, you acknowledge that you participate entirely at your own risk and are fully responsible for any situation you may encounter. The organizers accept no liability for damage to property, health, or life.
When collecting your GPS tracker, you will be required to sign a waiver confirming participation at your own risk. Without a signed waiver, you will not be allowed to start the race.
